Install Sipario on Android TV or Google TV from Google Play

Sipario is available on Google Play for Android TV OS, including Google TV. It is a free native media player for films, series and live channels from sources you provide. No Sipario account is required, and no movie or TV subscription is included.

Install the official app

1. Open your TV's apps search or Google Play Store and search for Sipario.
2. Choose Sipario by Aiml3ss. Check the developer name against the official Google Play listing.
3. Select Install, then open Sipario from your TV's apps list.

You can also open the listing on your phone or computer while signed into the Google account used on your TV. Google Play shows which linked devices are eligible. If your TV is not listed, check its account and compatibility in Google Play; an Android-based device is not automatically an Android TV or Google TV device.

Add your own media sources

Open Sipario's source settings on the TV to add a personal media server, compatible addon or playlist you have permission to use. For easier text entry, follow the pairing code or QR code shown by the app and use Sipario's pairing page on your phone. Pairing transfers your configuration; it does not provide media or a subscription.

Google Play or the APK?

Google Play handles installation and updates through the store. The sideload APK is a separate release channel with its own update prompt. Version numbers and release dates can differ between channels. You do not need Downloader or permission to install unknown apps for a Google Play installation.

Already using the APK? Do not uninstall it just to switch channels: uninstalling can remove local profiles, sources and settings. If Google Play cannot update your existing installation, keep using its current channel and ask for support.

Supported TVs and playback

Sipario is designed for Android TV and Google TV, with onn 4K Plus as the primary verified device. Google Play determines installation eligibility. Codec support, HDR output, Dolby Vision and audio passthrough depend on your box, television, receiver and source. Installation does not guarantee every format will work on every device.

What about Apple TV, iPhone and Windows?

Apple TV, iOS and Windows versions are in development. Join the Sipario beta list and choose your platforms to receive invitations as builds become ready. Signing up does not give immediate access. Android TV users can join the same list to help test upcoming releases. The Mac download is available separately for Apple Silicon running macOS 26 or later.
